monday.com pricing in 2026: what each plan really costs

monday.com pricing in 2026: every plan, the limits that push you up a tier, and what a team of ten pays over five years.

monday.com has five plans. Free covers 2 seats. Basic is $9 per seat a month billed yearly, or $12 monthly. Standard is $12, or $14 monthly. Pro is $19, or $24 monthly. Enterprise is quoted. Seats come in buckets starting at 3, so a team of eleven pays for fifteen. And accounts opened since May 2026 must also buy AI credits, which for now are discounted to nothing below 20 seats.

Below: what each plan includes, where the limits push you up a tier, and what monday.com costs a team over five years. All prices are in US dollars, from monday.com/pricing and monday’s help centre, checked on 29 September 2026.

Where the limits bite

Seats come in buckets

You can buy 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 or 40 seats. A team of four pays for five, a team of six for ten, and a team of eleven for fifteen. The minimum is 3, so even a pair pays for three.

AI credits are now compulsory

Accounts opened since 6 May 2026 must buy AI credits alongside their seats: at least 1,000 a month on Basic, 2,000 on Standard and 3,000 on Pro, at $10 per 1,000 on yearly billing. For now monday.com discounts them to nothing below 20 seats; from 20 seats they’re charged.

The free plan is for two

Up to 2 seats, 3 boards and 3 docs, and no automations or integrations. A third person means a paid plan, and a paid plan means at least three seats.

The useful views start at Standard

Timeline, Gantt and Calendar views, guest access and automations all start at Standard. Private boards and time tracking need Pro, at $19 a seat.

A year / five years, billed yearly, including the minimum AI credits from 20 seats up (below 20 they’re currently discounted to nothing). Paying monthly costs a third more on Basic, a sixth more on Standard and about a quarter more on Pro.

Look at the twelve-person row. Two new starters take the bill from 10 seats to 15, and three of those seats sit empty.

Is monday.com worth it?

For teams that want one flexible tool for projects, tracking and dashboards, often yes. It’s polished, has proper phone apps and a big marketplace of integrations.

For a small business that mostly needs to know who is doing which job, the bill climbs quickly. Ten people on Standard cost $7,200 over five years, and the AI credits are one more line on the invoice that monday.com can change.

The one-payment alternative

ReplaProject is project management you buy once. $399, and everyone in your business is on it, with no seats, no buckets and no credits. Every job gets a board, a table and a calendar, jobs can wait on other jobs, and a forwarded email becomes a job. It runs on a server you rent from about $6 a month, so five years comes to about $759 for the whole team.

It isn’t for everyone. monday.com does far more beyond projects, and has a marketplace to match; if you use those, stay. There’s no app in the App Store (it works in a phone’s browser), and it needs a server, which we can set up or run for you. See how it compares with monday.com, or everything it does.

Questions people ask about monday.com pricing

Is monday.com free for 1 user?

Yes. The free plan covers up to 2 seats, with 3 boards, 3 docs and no automations or integrations.

How much does monday.com cost for 10 users?

$90 a month on Basic, $120 on Standard or $190 on Pro, billed yearly: $1,080, $1,440 or $2,280 a year.

Why does monday.com charge for seats nobody uses?

Seats are sold in buckets of 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 40, so a team between two sizes pays for the larger one. Eleven people pay for fifteen.

Accounts opened since 6 May 2026 must buy at least 1,000 to 3,000 AI credits a month, depending on the plan, at $10 per 1,000 on yearly billing. For now they’re discounted to nothing below 20 seats.
