Trello pricing in 2026: what each plan really costs

Trello pricing in 2026: every plan, the limits that push you up a tier, and what a team of ten pays over five years.

Trello has four plans. Free covers up to 10 collaborators. Standard is $5 per person a month billed yearly, or $6 billed monthly. Premium is $10 billed yearly, or $12.50 monthly. Enterprise starts at $17.50 per person for 50 people or more, and is billed yearly only. For a team of ten that comes to $600 a year on Standard, or $1,200 on Premium.

Below: what each plan includes, where the limits push you up a tier, and what Trello costs a team over five years. All prices are in US dollars, from trello.com/pricing and Atlassian’s own help pages, checked on 29 September 2026.

Where the limits bite

Free stops at ten people

Since May 2024 a free Workspace can have at most 10 collaborators. A Workspace over the limit has its boards turned view-only until it removes people or upgrades, and upgrading means paying for everyone in it.

The useful views are Premium only

Standard is still boards and lists. The Calendar, Timeline, Table, Dashboard and Map views, the ones that show dates and work across boards, need Premium, which doubles the price to $10 per person.

Automation is rationed

Trello counts automation runs per Workspace: 250 a month on Free and 1,000 on Standard. Only Premium and Enterprise are unlimited. When the runs are used up, the rules wait until the next month.

Guests on more than one board are charged

A client or subcontractor you add to a single board is free. Add them to a second board and Trello bills them as a full member on Standard and Premium.

Enterprise is yearly, and starts at 50 people

Enterprise is only sold by the year, from 50 people up. It costs $17.50 per person a month ($210 a year) for the first 250 people and less per person after that, working out at about $13 each for 1,000 people.

What Trello costs a team, over one year and five

TeamStandard, a yearStandard, five yearsPremium, a yearPremium, five years
5 people$300$1,500$600$3,000
10 people$600$3,000$1,200$6,000
25 people$1,500$7,500$3,000$15,000
50 people$3,000$15,000$6,000$30,000
Billed yearly. Paying month to month adds a fifth on Standard and a quarter on Premium: ten people on monthly Standard pay $720 a year.

The pattern is the point. Trello’s bill never stops: every year costs the same again, and every person you add puts another $60 a year on Standard, or $120 on Premium.

Is Trello worth it?

For a small team, often yes. Free really is free for up to ten people, and Standard at $5 a head is cheap for a tool people enjoy using. It’s the easiest board there is to learn, and it has proper phone apps.

The sums change as the team grows. Premium is where the useful views are, and at $10 per person a month it costs a ten-person team $6,000 over five years. The bill never ends: stop paying and you’re back to the Free plan’s limits.

The one-payment alternative

ReplaProject is project management you buy once. $399, and everyone in your business is on it: the office, the site, the subbies. Every job gets a board, a table and a calendar, jobs can wait on other jobs, and a forwarded email becomes a job. It runs on a server you rent from about $6 a month, so five years comes to about $759 for the whole team, whether that’s five people or fifty.

It isn’t for everyone. There’s no app in the App Store (it works in a phone’s browser), and it needs a server, which we can set up or run for you. If that’s no problem, see how it compares with Trello, or everything it does.
